Louise Showcases Beautiful Birmingham Wildlife

Louise has created two stunning nature murals this month on a bridge in Trittiford Park in Birmingham. This follows a previous commission in the area which focussed on the local bird life. For these latest murals the Friends of Trittiford Park, which commissioned the artwork, wanted the local wildlife to be represented.

“From a fox, to a badger and even a flying barn owl, all native creatures are depicted in the foliage, with one scene showing autumn and the other spring”

says Louise, who worked alongside Bolton artist Andy Smith. "As we were painting, the response from local people was phenomenal. From young to old everyone was excited and engaged with the artwork."

Beryl Henley, who co-ordinated the mural project, was equally impressed…

“Thanks to Louise Garman and Andy Smith, we now have wonderful new murals painted on a brick bridge by a ford in the river”

she says. "It is already competing for attention with their previous mural in a nearby location. Park goers and passersby alike love it already and it goes a long way to 'Beautifying Billesley'…"
