As part of the Bury Festival of Art 2025, Louise was invited to exhibit and sell works at Bury Art Museum and Sculpture Centre last weekend, 11th and 12th October…

In the upper gallery, surrounded by iconic old scenescapes, Louise showed her artworks related to the local area, from Heaton Park tower and lion silkscreens, to sketches of green sites that permeate the borough, and new surreal collages flavoured by the north Greater Manchester zeitgeist.

“It was great to meet so many people, including fellow artists, over the weekend” says Louise, who also ran a sold out workshop on Chinese Painting in the gallery “There were visitors of all ages and I was really touched by all the positive feedback for my work.”

The collages that Louise displayed are works in progress for a large exhibition next year.
