In August, Louise ran two sold out workshops at the RHS Bridgewater Gardens, titled From Sketch to Watercolour, in which participants took inspiration from the Sensory Garden to create images.

“They were all beginners, they’d never had a go at doing watercolour before” Louise explains “So we started with some drawing basics and things to look out for when we went into the grounds. We found a beautiful spot; and they sketched the scene, then some people painted them with watercolours, others traced their sketches, then coloured them in so they could retain their original, and so had two versions.

“It was an amazing venue to teach watercolour” Louise reflects “And the feedback was really positive.”
